We believe education can bring about that change. SOS-UK is a student-led education charity focusing on sustainability - we know environmental sustainability cannot be achieved in isolation, so our work spans across issues of justice and wellbeing as well.

I found that I can do more in my daily life and encourage others to do more about the environment via saving energy as much as possible.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working on Green Impact projects with faculty colleagues and have gained a lot of skills and confidence of my capabilities as a result.
I have enjoyed learning about what happens behind the scenes with universities and have found auditing a new experience to help develop skills like analysing, critical thinking and leadership.
It was great to understand the ways a University could embed Fairtrade and wider sustainability practices through its research, curriculum and procurement.
